When Floyd, a furniture company, decided to launch their new sectional couch, they knew it would be a challenge. The couch was still in the prototype stage and had not yet been built—so how could they provide visuals for their launch?

 

In collaboration with Gunner, we set to create an animated promo that would launch their new sectional and modular couch. This meant creating unique designs and animations as a way of showcasing the sectional’s modularity in a way that wasn't just 2D photography or video.

 

The result? We were able to get over 18 thousand impressions on their Instagram and provide visuals for their website well before the product had finished production.

Floyd is famous for creating modern pieces that are both functional and elegant. We knew the designs and animations needed to reflect that as well.

 

A crucial part of the process was exploring different typography options before deciding on one that could be used consistently throughout their marketing materials while still communicating a sense of sophistication—and then bringing that same level of sophistication into the architectural visual development.
